It's snowing!

Yay! it has been snowing now here in North Van for a few hours and it is like Winter Wonderland outside. Dunno why I get so excited at the sight of the white stuff, it's not like we don't get plenty of it back home, perhaps because we don't get it in December ;)

Anyhow, its nearly bed time and I have to be up earlier *sigh*. With a bit of luck when I wake in the morning I'll be snowed in!! *snicker* fat chance me thinks....

On the upside I have a 4 day weekend coming up and plan to be a busy little kiwi finishing xmas shopping and bits and bobs.....time to go dream of making snow angels..

Xmas Shopping....whee!

Well today's the day, yup! time to get moving and get that xmas shopping started. I have decided that I am just not up for the last minute, last week rush this year.

So am heading off to Metrotown (a pretty good size mall here in Vancouver) and joining the thousands of others that will be there *sigh*. Actually I am looking forward to it, as I am starting to really feel in the Christmas spirit these last few days.

Tonight, Adam and I are putting up his tree and then will kick back and relax with a beer and watch the Canucks kick some serious San Jose ass!! "Yay! go Morrison....he's so cute!" hehe thats for Devon and I.

Mmmmm....I smell breakfast, time to eat and run!

Hopefully some Justice....

My eyes lit up, and I felt hopeful upon reading this...

I was very doubtful that the murdering b**** responsible for the death of Sir Peter Blake would ever be found, but perhaps justice will be served.

A truely sad day for New Zealand

Shock! Disbelief and utter sadness at the news I have just learned.....

Peter Blake, a man so well known to every Kiwi, and to anyone who knows anything or has any interest in yachting was savagely murdered this morning, Read more here....

I want to offer my sincere condolences to Peter's family and friends. New Zealand has lost one of our greatest hero's. The man who brought us the "Lucky Red Socks", who won us the America's Cup twice, and brought so much excitement and entertainment into our lives watching those races.

May you rest in peace Peter......

Going Live!

Well after weeks of work, here it is, my very own website!! *giddy with excitement*. I know there will be tweaking along the way, things to be added, that sort of thing. Heh, every site is a work in progress after all.

I want to thank Adam, for all your help and expertise with the backend techy stuff, which I have *very* limited knowledge in, but have to admit am learning as I go. Juan, thank you for my nifty little interpretation on the NZ flag. I think I will even pat myself on the back for the effort I have put into the content.

So enjoy! please drop me a line if you like, and don't forget to sign my Guestbook on the way in or out.
